Welcome on our website!

I graduated as a veterinarian with great distinction. During and after my classes I helped at Stud farm "Zangersheide" in Lanaken, led by Alex Korompis and veterinarian André Mijten. My love and passion for reproduction and artificial insemination grew at this professional stud farm.Together with Zangersheide I developed my thesis about embryonal mortality in horses, which was rewarded with the "Upjohn Award 1996". This has motivated me to specialize in equine reproduction.

After my graduation I settled at my parents home in Bocholt as a veterinarian. I started a general practice with a specialty in equine reproduction. Now I have a general practice at my home in Gruitrode, Belgium, with an approved KI-centre with an European license for the storage of (frozen)semen. In the period from 1997 until his death in 2006, I did the follow up on the stallion "Darco". This legendary stallion has had an important influence on my life and career. It was an honor to work with him.
